Kyoug Jae Lee

Born in 1960 in Yongin (Korea), he studied "sculpture" at Mok-Won University (Korea) and later graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Carrara (1995).

In 1994 he exhibited for the first time in Italy, at the Galleria Gadarte in Florence and two years later at the Galleria Candelao (Florence) and the Fluxus Gallery (Chiavari, Genoa).

Once back in Korea, he exhibits in several private galleries in Seoul and Yongin.

In 2014 he is again in Italy with an exhibition in the Church of San Cristoforo in Lucca with which he presents his "Orchestra": an installation of 11 elements that compose a real marble Orchestra.

The exhibition of 2016 from the opener is his first great staff in the city of Art of Pietrasanta.

He also won numerous sculpture awards in Korea and Italy and is present in important collections such as Lettomanopello City Hall (Italy), Museum of Contemporay Art (Korea), Yongin City Hall (Korea), Gimchun sculpture Park (Korea) and Siheung sculpture Park (Korea).

Lee Kyoung Jae is a professor at the Sang-Myung University (Seoul, Korea).
